Hi, I'm Caren

A motion designer chasing flows & shaping experiences

I’m a Brazilian motion designer based in Austin, TX since 2019. Though my creative journey started long before that. At 18, curiosity led me to Photoshop, and soon after I got my first gig designing banners for a movie review site.

While I initially pursued a more traditional path with a business degree and related roles, I always found ways to bring design into whatever I was doing. Over time, I realized what truly excited me was bringing visuals to life. That realization led me to leave the business world, enroll in film school, and ultimately discover my passion for motion design.

In recent years, I’ve expanded into UI/UX, blending my motion graphics skills with user-centered design to create intuitive, engaging experiences. I’ve also been exploring AI tools to generate images and video, helping make design workflows faster, more accurate to company needs, and aligned with modern, trend-driven aesthetics.

Whether I’m creating dynamic visuals, refining digital interactions, or experimenting with new creative technologies, my goal is always the same: to combine storytelling, design, and movement into meaningful and impactful work.

My Work Experience

Aceable

2021-Now

At Aceable, I work across motion design and product design, creating graphics, animations, and explainer videos for campaigns, while also designing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows in Figma. My work spans marketing and product initiatives, from CTV campaigns to web and mobile experiences. I’ve also been exploring AI tools for image and video generation, using them to speed up workflows and bring in fresh, trend-driven aesthetics.

Freelancer

2019-2021

For over two years, I worked independently with clients, managing projects from concept to delivery. I specialized in creating multimedia content such as explainer videos, social media animations, GIFs, logo animations, and promotional videos.

2015-2018

As a Motion Designer at Conteúdo Filmes in Brazil, I created 2D and 3D animations for major cable TV channels, including Warner, Universal, Telecine, and Globoplay, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a wide range of projects.

Brainstorming Entretenimento

2014-2015

At Brainstorming Entretenimento (now Brain+), I designed print materials such as press clipping albums, flyers, and other collateral for theatre productions. During this time, I also began exploring motion design in After Effects, creating animations for upcoming shows that were featured on the company’s website.
